Hi there.  I’m Angela and welcome to Cupcake Couture.  Here, you’ll find decadent cupcakes and all the delicious desserts I have shared with my family and friends for years.

Growing up, every Sunday my mother would make a big family dinner that always included a homemade dessert.  My mother, grandmother, and grandfather are part of a long line of exceptional cooks who knew the secret of preparing good food. 

While I learned the basics of cooking from my mother, baking is where my heart is.  I truly enjoy sitting back and watching the people I love eat the creations I made.  If you’re a baker, you know exactly what that means!

A little about me:  I have a Bachelors of Art degree from Notre Dame of Maryland University with a dual major in Business Administration and Human Resources.  I’ve used that degree as the Director of Human Resources for the last 23 years.  I’ve also spent the last 23 years with my best friend and the love of my life, Glenn, who doesn’t eat sweets…who doesn’t eat sweets!!!

For those of you who love sweets, I promise to always follow the advice my grandmother gave me a long time ago: “Whatever you bake, bake with love!”
